Musical Evenings at San Fernando Cathedral

started in 1999 and is a free series. It consists of two performances: a theatrical fanfare on the Main Plaza, complete with costumed actors and musicians, and a classical concert featuring international and local musicians in the cathedral.

Musica Viva

is held in private residences is the performance outcome from MBAW's beginnings. As a membership incentive and benefit, Musica Viva showcases the musicians from the Main Stage series in intimate, salon-style performances. There are four invitation-only concerts each season, which are underwritten by one of MBAW's founders, Dr. Gustavo Medellin, and serve a growing membership base.

Kids to Concerts

is a keystone in MBAW's educational outreach programming. Now in its 9th year, it is designed to encourage music education/awareness among school-aged children for free.

Once again we are counting on your support to help us enrich the cultural life of our beautiful city. As a nonprofit organization, 75% of MBAW's annual budget is provided by individual and corporate charitable donations. As always, we thank you and rely on your patronage.
